HEALTH GUIDELINES:

ABBEY ROAD STUDIO HAIR SALON is continuing my commitment to keeping the salon safe and comfortable for all clients.  (Thank you so much for your support during the past four years!)

I am no longer taking Walk-In clients, however you are more than welcome to give me a call to see if I have any last minute openings!  (I am extremely blessed that I have a loyal guests that have been coming to me for many, many years, and always pre-book their next appointments , so I’m suggesting appointments should be made in advance.) 

Additionally, after taking a survey from my clients, the door will remained locked, and only guests with appointments are allowed to enter ABBEY ROAD STUDIO HAIR SALON, one at a time, (or one family at a time), and the door will remained locked until you leave.  (As my “Beatle Shrine” has grown over the years, a pretty hefty stream of admirers has grew too, which made my guests feel uneasy.) ~  If you wish to visit the “Beatle Shrine”, an appointment will have to be made so that my clients get the attention that they deserve and pay for.  Thank you for your understanding.)

Before coming to the salon, please assess your health…   If you are feeling under the weather, please reschedule your appointment for the safety of myself and other clients.

Important info/Policies... the 4-1-1

At this time gratuity is greatly appreciated in cash, or consider writing a separate check.  THANK YOU!!!

I prefer cash for payment, or a personal check for all services…  However, I do take debit cards, and credit cards. 

As part of my ongoing efforts to maintain sustainable operations and continued success of my business, I am implementing a new policy regarding credit card transactions to offset the increasing processing fees incurred by my business.

The use of credit and debit cards in my salon has increased significantly due to customer preferences and convenience.  As processing fees have escalated dramatically, beginning November 1, 2024, a surcharge of 3% will be applied to all transactions made using credit cards.  This surcharge will be communicated to all of my customers at the point of sale through signage, placed prominently at my checkout counter.  (Debit card transactions will not be subject to this surcharge.)

 24-HOUR NOTICE OF CANCELLATION POLICY:   My time, like yours, is very valuable.  Therefore, I have a 24 hour cancellation policy.  I understand that emergencies happen, and I ask everyone to please contact me as soon as possible.  I respectfully request  that all appointment cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. 

This policy is to protect myself from loss of income and to allow other clients the opportunity to benefit from the appointment time.  If you fail to show up for your appointment, I reserve the right to charge you for your “no show” as well.

I understand that you may be delayed for your appointment, however, if you are more than 15 minutes late, I may have to ask you to reschedule your appointment.  Please contact me as soon as possible if you expect to be late, and I will try my best to accommodate you. 

 

**  Let’s talk “PRICE QUOTES”. 

That, by that by definition is “a cost estimate of the approximation of a project”.  A price quote may not be the final cost of your hair service, however, I will do my best to keep you within your budget.

 

**  ONE MORE THING… 

I will not discount the price of my haircuts if you come with wet hair, or leave with wet hair.  I am a full service salon, and my prices reflect a full service. 

I will not entertain discounting my color service if you ask to bring in your own color, nor will I use another hair color of which I have not had extensive training and education.

If you are a new client, or if you have long or thick hair, PLEASE mention this to me when you are booking your appointment, as it will likely take extra time to achieve the desired result.

My haircuts include a consultation, shampoo, conditioning rinse and blow dry.

Flat Iron or Curling Iron is an additional cost of $20.00.

**Haircuts requiring longer appointments is also an additional $25.00+.

Prices may vary depending on the difficulty of the haircut, the amount of products used and styling time. 

I will do my best to stay within your budget, however this decision is based solely on my expertise, and I will not negotiate my prices. Compared to other area salons, my prices are very reasonable. I treat all of my patrons with respect and dignity, and expect the same courtesy in return. Thank you.

Colors

PLEASE READ THE POLICIES ON MY SERVICE MENU.

If you are a new client to my salon, I highly recommend a consultation before booking an appointment. 

ABBEY ROAD STUDIO HAIR SALON primarily uses TOCCO MAGICO hair color products.  Meaning “Magic Truth”, the difference between color product line is passion.  TOCCO is the #1 hair color company in Italy!  With a coconut cream base, seven all natural herbs, and the lowest ammonia content in permanent hair color, and is excellence with a deep commitment for protecting your hair and scalp.

(As I measure my hair color on a gram scale, I have great knowledge of what the average amount of grams I need for a color process.  Should you have thick hair that requires additional color, there will be a $10.00 charge per bowl for additional color used.)

All hair full color hair services include shampoo, cut and a blow-dry.   (Flat Iron or Curling Iron is an upcharge.)

Foilayge color services

Foilayge color services is a time intensive process.  Depending on the hair color you have at the start of the appointment,  combined with the desired level of lightness or brightness that is desired in the final result, it must be understood that achieving certain results might require multiple visits!  As a hair color expert, I can only push/lighten the hair so far in one appointment…always considering the condition of your hair first.  

Consultation is highly recommended on this service!

 

WITH REGARD TO BAYALAGE AND COLOR CORRECTIONS:

** At this time, I am discontinuing my Bayalage Services as I am no longer using the clay based bleach product line used for Bayalage.  I like the reliability of using foils with bleach products, therefore I will use the Foilayge procedure to ensure that there is no unwanted bleeding to hair that I do not wish to be bleached!!  As with Bayalage services, a consultation is highly recommended to discuss your wishes for your Foilayge end results!

** Due to the amount of time time it takes to do a color correction, especially with the continued use of over-the-counter boxed color, I am no longer going to provide a color correction service, however, I will assist you to a locate a reputable color correction specialist.

**All glazes and toners are an additional cost starting at $15.00 – $30.00 per application.  Sometimes toners are required when unpredictable undertones develop during color procedures, resulting in additional cost from the base price

Wig Detailing and Pricing Structures

Honestly, I do not have a specific pricing for wig detailing.  Each wig (or topper), and each client have a different set of circumstances.  I can only make a determination about service pricing until I see the wig on your head!  All wigs are so different, it could take me just minutes to trim bangs, but it could take me an hour or more to get the rest of the wig perfect!  My typical price range for detailing a wig is between $15.00 – $55.00.  I am honest, I am fair, and I want to make you feel beautiful!
